About

Cgit is an open-source web frontend for Git repositories written in C that provides a lightweight interface for browsing source code, commits, and repository history.

It provides Atom feeds and on-the-fly archives for commits and tags, includes side-by-side diffs, syntax highlighting via plugins, simple author statistics, and an extensible filtering framework with Lua scripting.

GitWeb is a Perl-based web interface for browsing Git repositories that is provided as part of the Git project and available as a CGI script.

It offers read-only access to repository history, supports viewing commits, branches, tags, diffs, and file trees, and generates RSS and Atom feeds for updates.
