🆚 Fontello vs. Shorthand

Fontello is a free web-based icon font generator that lets users build custom icon packs by selecting glyphs from multiple open-source icon libraries, including Font Awesome, Entypo, and Typicons.

The service generates icon web fonts with CSS and demo files, supports SVG-to-font conversion, Unicode character mapping, and customizable font naming, and helps reduce website asset size by exporting only the selected icons.

Shorthand is a no-code publishing platform for building immersive multimedia stories that animate as readers scroll, such as feature articles, digital magazines, and annual reports.

It provides a drag-and-drop editor with story templates, flipbook-style image sequences and scroll-based image transitions with text overlays, an AI assistant for layout generation and draft restructuring, chart creation from uploaded CSV data, import of existing PDFs and web pages, and collaborative editing with commenting.
