HHVM is an open-source virtual machine designed to execute programs written in the 
Hack programming language, originally developed for 
Facebook and still used by Meta.
It uses a just-in-time compiler to translate bytecode into native machine code at runtime, includes a high-performance engine and a built-in web server, supports asynchronous execution, and is optimized for Hack's static typing features.
