Flying Pages is a 
WordPress performance plugin that preloads pages in the browser before navigation to deliver near-instant page transitions.
It injects a lightweight script of about 1 KB, detects links in the viewport and on mouse hover to start prefetching, limits requests using an internal queue, pauses preloading when the server is under load, and skips it entirely for slow connections or data-saver modes to avoid unnecessary resource usage.
The rel="preconnect" attribute on 
HTML <link> elements instructs browsers to establish early connections to external origins before resources are requested.
It is used to reduce latency by opening DNS lookup, TCP handshake, and TLS negotiation in advance for critical third-party domains such as CDNs, font providers, and analytics services.
