It aggregates responses from multiple microservices into a single endpoint, provides rate limiting, circuit breaking, traffic shadowing, and bot detection, supports JWT, OAuth2, OpenID, and mTLS authentication, and offers unified LLM interfaces for OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.

Ngrok is a globally distributed reverse proxy platform that creates encrypted tunnels and consolidates load balancing, API gateway, and firewall capabilities for applications, APIs, and network services.

It supports HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, and TLS traffic, OAuth, OIDC, and JWT authentication, rate limiting, IP restrictions, webhook verification, endpoint load balancing, a Kubernetes Ingress Operator, Agent SDKs, and real-time traffic inspection with request replay.
