About

LXC is a low-level Linux container runtime that provides operating-system-level virtualization through tools, templates, APIs, and language bindings for creating and managing system containers.

It uses Linux kernel features such as namespaces, cgroups, AppArmor, and seccomp isolation, supports unprivileged containers, live migration, multiple storage backends and network types, and includes image templates for distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, and Alpine.

OpenStack is an open-source cloud platform that manages compute, storage, and networking resources for building public and private cloud infrastructure.

It provides modular services for virtual machines, networking, identity management, orchestration, and bare metal provisioning.
