The interest-based advertising opt-out allowed sites to exclude themselves from Federated Learning of Cohorts (FLoC) cohort calculations using the "interest-cohort=()" permission policy. It is now deprecated and support for it has been removed from Chromium in February 2022.

Web Storage is a browser API that provides client-side key-value storage for websites, allowing data to be stored directly in a user's web browser.

It stores data as strings associated with a website's origin, offers significantly larger storage capacity than cookies, and consists of the localStorage and sessionStorage interfaces.
