About

The Beacon API is used to send asynchronous and non-blocking requests to a web server.

The interest-based advertising opt-out allowed sites to exclude themselves from Federated Learning of Cohorts (FLoC) cohort calculations using the "interest-cohort=()" permission policy. It is now deprecated and support for it has been removed from Chromium in February 2022.
