About

SearchAction is a structured data type from Schema.org that describes a website's search capability.

Before November 2024, it was used by Google to enable the "Sitelinks Search Box" feature, which displayed a search bar for a website directly within the search results snippet. However, since Google deprecated this feature, there is no evidence that other search engines or apps currently support it.

YAML ("YAML Ain't Markup Language") is a human-readable data serialization language designed for representing structured data and exchanging it between systems and programming languages.

It uses indentation-based syntax with minimal structural characters, represents data using three core primitives such as mappings, sequences, and scalars, and includes features such as anchors and aliases for referencing data, along with a simple typing system for numbers, strings, and booleans.
