About

jQuery is a fast, small, feature-rich JavaScript library designed to simplify HTML DOM tree traversal and manipulation, event handling, CSS animations, and Ajax.

It provides a cross-browser selector engine, formerly known as Sizzle, supports deferred and promise objects for asynchronous workflows, has built-in JSON parsing and utility functions, and allows extensibility through a large ecosystem of plugins.

The Web Vitals library is a lightweight JavaScript library for measuring Core Web Vitals and related performance metrics on real users in the browser.

It is a modular package of about 2 KB that exposes functions for metrics such as CLS, LCP, INP, FCP, and TTFB, uses the PerformanceObserver API with buffered entries to capture data even after page load, and supports integration with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
