The Open Graph protocol is a web metadata standard that defines how webpages are described as structured objects for use in social graphs and enables their consistent representation.
It specifies a set of 
HTML meta properties that start with "og:" (such as og:title, og:type, og:image, and og:description) to add semantic meaning to a page's content and control how that content should be represented.
RDFa (Resource Description Framework in Attributes) is an extension to HTML5 that embeds structured metadata within page content by adding attributes based on the 
RDF data model.
It uses HTML attributes such as vocab, typeof, and property to describe entities like people, places, events, recipes, and reviews, supports multiple vocabularies such as Schema.org, 
Dublin Core, and 
GoodRelations, and is one of the structured data formats supported by Google alongside 
JSON-LD and Microdata.
