About

The Product Types Ontology is an e-commerce classification vocabulary that provides standardized definitions for product and service types used in structured data markup.

It contains around 300,000 product and service type definitions organized in a hierarchical taxonomy, extends the Schema.org and GoodRelations vocabularies, and enables merchants and marketplaces to describe product semantics more precisely for search engines, catalogs, and commerce applications.

Twitter Cards are a metadata format used by X, originally Twitter, that enables links in posts to display rich previews with images, videos, and interactive media to increase engagement and traffic.

They are defined via specialized meta tags embedded in web pages, support multiple card types, and enable previews such as articles with images and descriptions, app install prompts, and embedded audio or video players with playback controls.
