💡 Methodology
We measure the technologies used on websites using the following principles:
- For the analysis, we use our extensive dataset, which consists of websites queried via the Website Information tool or other webmaster tools available on our site. This data is diverse enough to be considered a representative sample of the web.
- We use our own advanced technology detection algorithms with better accuracy.
- We use sophisticated multi-level algorithms for website country detection that are more accurate than those used by other services.
- Only technologies from websites with a successful HTTP 200 response code are analyzed.
- We treat third-level domains (subdomains) as separate sites because they often use different sets of technologies (for example, microsoft.com is powered by Adobe Experience Manager and techcommunity.microsoft.com is powered by
Khoros Communities).
- Cross-domain redirects are ignored (e.g. fb.me technologies are not counted due to the redirect fb.me → www.facebook.com).
📌 Disclaimer
This is an independent service that measures technologies used on websites. Our results are based solely on our own algorithms and the data we collect.
We identify technologies using various methods, such as analyzing website content, HTTP headers, etc. However, without insider information, it may not be possible to detect certain technologies if they do not appear on the site in any way.
While we strive for accuracy, please note that our results are estimates. Therefore, our data is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
